***Per popular request I have a VIDEO HERE for the little tea light holders and some more tips***
Hi Stampers!
Happy Monday! I am honored and excited to be part of the My Monthly Hero blog hop today. It's always an honor to design for Hero Arts. And you will LOVE this month's kit! It's a 3-D one and perfect for the holidays and beyond. And it's very versatile. I tried to come up with different ideas to use the diamond box die and stamps. So bear with me, I have a LOT to share today, because as soon as I started playing with this kit I couldn't stop. And the add ons are AWESOME, too. To see the list of all the great designers participating in the blog hop scroll towards the bottom of this post.
The kit contains:
► A 4"x6" clear stamp set
► A set of 13 dies for creating diamond-shaped ornaments and embellishments
► A VersaMark ink cube
► White Puff embossing powder
► 10 half sheets of vellum cardstock
► 2 half sheets of each cardstock: metallic red, metallic blue and patterned
► Ornament hooks and more!

Hero Arts is giving away one kit as a prize to one blog reader - selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Giveaway closes Sunday, November 13 at 11:59pm, and the winner will be announced the following week.
The kit is available for a limited time only - once it's gone, it's gone. Kits begin shipping from Hero Arts on Monday, November 14.

So, lets get started.
For my first project I die cut the diamond box twice from silver shimmer card stock and cut the parts with the holes, that's way I got something looking as a roof, next I trimmer only one triangle (and tab) from the second die cut and made a pentagon looking roof. Next I created the walls and used the rectangle infinity dies to create the windows. Then added to the bottom the skyline die cuts. On the pack I adhered vellum panels. This is perfect for little lanterns. It looks awesome in the dark.
Next up is another type of little lantern, but this time I just used one die cut box and trimmer the top parts (with the holes), but left 1/8" tabs to adhere them to the bottom of the "house". These would be perfect for name plates if you use the persons name instead of the Peace sentiment.
Next up are little tea lights. I die cut one box out of shimmer card stock (blue, red and gold/copper) and then trimmer each part with the hole on it as shown below (red is score line, black is cut line)
Then I adhered vellum behind each side except the "solid" triangle cut. On the bottom I adhered a square piece of matching card stock, so it hold the tea light in it and the little tabs created with the trimming the tops are to adhere the bottom.
Next, I made a little scene using the Mini Christmas set by using only half of the box, but creating little tabs to adhere to bottom that is made of matching square piece of card stock. The bottom is actually double, as in between I have a little flat LED light. I punched a hole behind the church that is 1/4" in diameter and adhered the light. Then adhered another piece of card stock on the bottom to cover the light. and added some fake snow.
Next I have the box die cut as it was made to be used, but I added a piece of card stock inside to hold the tea light!
Next are two little favor boxes. For the first one I used two die cuts. The bottom one is similarly made as the tea lights above, but I left the tops with holes uncut and trimmed the bottom, that way you can have opening to put treats inside. And for the top part I used the second die cut and trimmed the tops, so I have a solid closed cover. I just punched two holes on the top. That way I can thread the twine from the inside to the top, and my box can stay closed without worrying that it will open and stuff will fall out.
And finally I made few cards. The first one is non-traditional one and is not Christmas themed.
