MISTI meets Impression Obsession


Hi Stampers!
Happy Friday and welcome to the Impression Obsession Blog Hop and My Sweet Petunia. And I have not one but 2 cards for you today. And 2 videos!!!! I know, can you believe it?!?
Before I move onto my cards I wanted to mention few things about this blog hop (The list of designers participating are at the bottom of this post). 
Leave a comment on each blog for chance to win a mini MISTI or $25 Gift Certificate for IO. Visit each blog and leave each designer some love in form of a comment and a winner will be drawn on the 12th , actually 2 winners. The winners will be announced on the My Sweet Petunia blog and FB page, as well as on the IO blog and Facebook page!

As I mentioned above I have 2 cards. For my 1st card I am using the Wreaths and Garlands set and using my Original Misti and hexagon template I stamped a wreath! I layered bunch of fall colors for it and I honestly love how it turned out! For my second card I used the Peony set 1, and this set is AH-MAZING, the flower has 5 layers so stamping it with the MISTI made it craziness free. I was able to position each layer perfectly and on top of that I did mass stamp the images. Hi, Ilina! Thank you for the two video tutorials. (I am your newest YouTube follower). Lovely cards using the "step stamping" techniques. I admire how you used the Misti in both. Fantastic idea with the tiny images. I had never thought of making a template like a hexagon. I appreciate that tip! While the regular size Misti is already in my tools, and dearly loved, I can now see that the mini Misti would be a fun addition as well! Thanks for the tips!

Never thought to use the Wreaths & Garlands in such a pretty circular pattern.

The Peony is delicate with dramatically subtle coloring. This stamp set is a must-have in any stash, and it appears to be extremely easy to make because of the MISTI. You have inspired me greatly. Thank you.
