Display Stamper Projects Submission

Hi all,

Today I have to share the projects I made for the Display Stamper for Su! events entry. I hope you like them. And I hope SU! would like them, too :).

I made three cards, two 3-d items and one scrapbook page.

***CLICK ON PICTURES FOR LARGER VIEW***
For the first card I used the Papillon Potpourri stamp set along with French Foliage. I stamped the butterflies with Jet Black Staz-on onto Shimmery White card stock and punched them out. After that using my Aqua painter and Pool Party, Island Indigo and Baja Breeze ink pads I colored them. I sponged the piece of First Editions specialty paper using sponge daubers and crumb cake ink pad and stamped images from French Foliage. I layered it on Pool Party card stock (previously sponged with Crumb Cake ink).

The card base is Crumb Cake, again sponged and stamped with French Foliage set. I decorated with  pearls and added Pool Party seam binding ribbon, vintage trinkets and little sentiment from the Tiny Tags set and punched with The Jewelry Tag punch.

For the second card I used the Stippled Blossoms set. I stamped the flowers and leaves using Real Red, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and Old Olive stamp set. I used Crystal Effects to accent the flowers and leaves. I made the tag from First Editions Specialty dsp and adhered it to Very Vanilla card stock, so it's more sturdy. I used 3/4" circle punch to punch the corners to look like ticket.
The ribbon is Very Vanilla Seam binding ribbon, that I colored using mixture of rubbing alcohol and Calipso Coral ink refill and Stampin' Spritzer. The sentiment is stamped using Staz-on ink pad and is from Apothecary Art stamp set.
The card base is Calypso coral and the layers are Very Vanilla card stock and Real Red dsp from the Brights dsp stack. At the end I added some Very Vanilla brads from the Neutrals brads pack.

For the third card I used the A La Carte stamp Two by Two. I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and using ink pads and aqua painter I colored the image and layered it on Pool Party card stock. The card base is So Saffron and then layer of Pool Party. I used as well Pool Party and So Saffron dsp from the Subtles and in Colors 2011-2013 dsp stacks. I used Adorning accents edgelits for the border and Essentials Paper Piercing pack to add some detail.
I used the in colors printed brads (2011-2013 in colors) .
The sentiment is from Sweet Essentials stamp set and is stamped in Jet Black Staz On ink.

And now, onto the 3-D items. The first one is a tea pot. I used the template I made for one of my online classes from couple years ago (I was pregnant with my now 15 month old daughter, and now that I am making it again, I am again pregnant with baby#2, another girl).
I used Calypso Coral card stock and Tea for Two dsp. I used Delicate Details lace tape and sponge daubers (and Calypso Coral ink pad) to add details to the bottom, top, lid, handle and "beak" of the pot.
For the lid I used three Vintage faceted buttons that I layered on top of each other (3 different sizes) and adhered with glue dots. I used the Ticket Duo Builder punch to make the little tag for the tea bag (that's coming out of the tea pot. And adhered one of the flowers from the Flower trim ribbon that I colored the same way as I did the ribbon above (alcohol and ink refill mixture into stampin' spritzer). I added a little jewlery tag and charm from the Tea for Two  charms. I used the Tea Shoppe set to make the label on the front. The scallop oval is cut by hand. The colors I used are Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade.

And now, the second 3-d item. It's a little suitcase that can fit card, love notes, treats etc...I had this idea since I saw this set and dsp for the first time, and finally I realized it. I used Island Indigo and Calypso coral card stock for the suitcase (I made the template). And then decorated it with Sent with love dsp, and images from the same stamp set. The images are stamped in versamark and embossed with White embossing powder. The plane is embossed with Pool Party. I used 1 1/4" and 1  3/8" circle punches for the heart trace image. I put the plane on the right instead of the left as in the image. The handle is made from card stock, but I adhered (using sticky strip) to it Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon and attached it with brads (metallic pack in silver )

And last but not the least, the scrapbook page. I need to confess that this page took me out of my comfort zone as these are not my usual colors, but I really wanted to use the pictures of my daughter from our vacation in San Diego in January. She had so much fun in Legoland, especially in the Duplo Village and playing with all the bricks. I used the For the Record Simply Scrappin' Layout kit from the Spring Mini Catalog. Besides the kit I used Clock Works set and Soft Suede ink pad, dsp : Polka Dot Parade, Brights dsp stack, In Colors dsp stack 2011-2013, brights buttons, white bakery twine. I used Apothecary accents framelits, as well Hearts a flutter framelits (for the banners)
The colors I used are: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Real Red and Island Indido. The base is the patterned Soft Suede card stock from the Simply Scrappin' kit.

Ok, I have never written this much in a single blog post :) so it's time to go and press the "publish" button.
