Many have asked for a tutorial for the roses. I know Patty Bennett has one, which I haven't watched. I do it my own way:
1. stamp the rose with versamark on shimmery white
2. emboss it using white embossing powder
3. spray it with water and make sure the whole rose is covered, so there is no dry spot.
4. drop a drop of ink refill in the middle and using paint brush spread it, not covering the whole rose
5. using another color of ink refill do the same, but mainly in the white spots. You can mix some with the previous color too.
6. wait about a min, then remove the excess color and water with paper towel and cut the image out.
7. Now you are ready to use it on a card :)
As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator each month I receive a free magazine full of samples, ideas and techniques. This sample comes right from that magazine, when I saw it I knew I had to make few of these cards. Check back later for Hanna Stamps! sneak peek :)
Supplies:
stamps: Thoughts and Prayers
paper: taste of textiles, baja breeze, kraft, basic black
ink: basic black
other: ribbon originals, top note die, paper snips, horizontal slot punch
