Hi stampers!
It's the most wonderful time of the year, and that is the Hero Arts Wintertime Fun catalog blog hop. I am excited over the top to be guesting one more time for Hero Arts!
If you haven't seen the catalog, better run to look at it. It's AH-Mazing!
Before I go onto my cards, you can see the Hero Arts Entire Wintertime Fun release HERE
Now onto my cards! For my first one I used the new infinity dies (12 point stars) to dry emboss the background (use thicker card stock for this, I used 110lb Neenah), and my favorite set from the catalog, The color layering baby penguin!!!! This little buddy is so stinkin' cute! I stamped the image then die cut it with the coordinating dies. For the sentiment I used strip of black card stock and stamped in versamark, then embossed with white embossing powder.
Next up is shaker card featuring the new Frost Sequins and shaker card using the new set Bird Words. I stamped the birds using the Pool to Navy Ombre ink and die cut them. I created the shaker using the circle infinity dies and filled it with Frost sequins. The background for the shaker was sponged using Soft Pool and Tide Pool inks, then on it I stamped the branch from the Ornaments Stamp and cut set and embossed in white. I stamped the sentiment from Winter Silhouettes with Ombre ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.
This next card, includes a lot of embossing, so I got video that will be available later today. I used the new ornaments stamp and cut and a new bold prints stamp! Come back later today for the video
Fot my next card I used background stamp and embossed with gold then did ink blending using Soft Pink, Cotton Candy and Bubblegum shadow inks. Next I die cut the sentiment along with few times. I added Stick it adhesive on the back before die cutting. I sponged one of the die cuts with versamark and embossed with Igold embossing powder. I stacked all die cuts together (and adhered) in order to get dimensional look. I stamped the sentiment on strip of vellum and embossed with gold. Adhered to the panel and added to black card base. To finish it off I added some Champagne Sequins.
And this is another of my favorites. I used Penguin family and circle infinity dies.I stamped the image in black and embossed using clear embossing powder , then I colored it using my Chameleon pens! I made a mask from masking paper and circle infinity dies and sponged inside the circle using Soft Pool and Tide Pool ink pads. When dry I stamped the falling snow and embossed with white embossing powder. I cut the images and adhered to my panel. Stamped the sentiment from Winter Silhouettes set and embossed with clear embossing powder. To finish off my card I adhered my panel to black note card and added some sequins.
