Sharing in your sorrow

Hi stampers!
Happy Friday! I am so glad it's Friday and there is no work for 2 days! I have had enough and then some this week (work that is).
Today I have another creation for you for not so happy occasion. A friend's father passed away a week ago, so I made a card for him.
I used the stamp set Thoughts and Prayers and the labels framelits and the new Tip Top Taupe card stock. I stamped the stripes with one of the MFT background stamps called pin stripe.
I really like how it turned out.
Hope you enjoy it and make one for a happy occasion :)

TEA AND COFFEE POT CARDS

Hi all,

I didn't get a chance to post during the long weekend, but I am back now.

I used black, delightful dijon and bermuda bay inks to stamp the borders, then the sentiment is from More Birthday Messages stamp set and the black sequins are from the Love Notes PL accessory pack. The panel is cut with one of the stitched rectangles dies from Lil' Inkers designs.

Enjoy and check back tomorrow for more creations!

Hi!

I am back today with another eye candy. This time it's a no brainer, because it's a CASE from the catalog. I used the set I think you are great, but changed the card just a tiny little bit. I stamped the cloud using one of the Hero Arts Ombre inks (Pool to Navy) and then added one extra layer, so the card it's not so flimsy when standing up. I die cut the panel using one of the Mama Elephant Peek a Frame die cuts and then mounted on a White card base. The washi tape is from the Cherry on top collection and the sequins I used are from the Love Story PL accessory pack, but not to worry in the new SU! catalog there are silver sequins! (Didn't notice that I am hooked on sequins lately :) )
For the little heart I colored a piece of whisper white card stock using my Watermelon Crush marker and then punched it and adhered the coordinating epoxy sticker.
Voila, super quick card.

Stay tuned, I will be back tomorrow with yet another eye candy for you ;)

As well, I have some grab bag cards, so I can unload from the cards I have piled up. More details HERE

Sprinkles of Life

Hi all,
I didn't post yesterday. One of my little girls was home sick, so I didn't even get a chance to turn on my computer. Anyway, I have another eye candy for you. This time it uses the new Stampin' Up! set Sprinkles of Life and the coordinating Tree Builder punch. These products will be available for purchase on June 2nd.
I stamped the images with Memento in Tuxedo black and colored them with my Chameleon Pens, then punched out the ice cream scoops, and cut the ice cream cone. I stamped the sentiment on 2" strip of whisper white card stock and then adhered the ice cream with dimensionals. On the back I adhered a little piece of label die cut to give it a nice finish. Then I tied some linen thread and adhered the whole strip on Early Espresso card base, that was previously stamped with one of the border set called Chalkboard lines (or something like that).
Enjoy!
See you tomorrow with another eye candy

Vintage Roses Hello

Happy Monday!
It's a brand new week ahead of us and lets see what this week brings.
For today I have another Vintage roses card(s) to share with you, again a CASE from Jennifer McGuire. But this time I did pink roses. and stepped the cards a little bit by stamping a background, as well adding some clear Wink of Stella on the roses. I have another set of cards to share with you (but that will be some other day) where I stepped the cards a little bit more then these.
The card bases are Smokey Shadow and I stamped the diagonal strips using the same color ink.
Enjoy and come back tomorrow for more eye candy ;)

You've got this

Happy Friday!
Today I have a little Stampin' Up! sneak peek for you. I used the new set that will be released in June called You've Got this. I stamped the image on Neenah white card stock and colored it with my Chaameleon Pens. Then I stamped the sentiment and die cut the panel with one of the Lil' Inker Designs Stitched rectangles dies. Then I added some sequins and "Colored" the flower using the clear wink of Stella brush pen to add some shimmer.
I cut then the card base from Smokey Shadow card stock and stamped with the MFT Diagonal Stripes background stamp. Then adhered the image panel using dimensionals. Voila....quick and easy card :)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
I will be back tomorrow or on Sunday with a new creation!

Happy Birthday

Welcome back to my blog!
Today I have another Lili of the Valley and Chameleon pens card for you, this time I used the retired Birthday Fairy stamp and paired it up with the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Happy Bears stamp set.
I stamped the image on Neenah white card stock and colored it with my Chameleon Pens. Then die cut it using the Peek a frame dies from Mama Elephant and stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onix Black ink pad.
The card base is Smokey gray from SU! and then adhered pink piece of patterned paper from Pebbles (I think it was called watercolor wash), then tied the ribbon and using dimensionals I adhered the image. At the end I adhered the resin flower from Studio Calico.

Hope you all have an amazing day and I will be back tomorrow with another creation for you.

Thanks

Happy hump day ;)
I am back today with another Lili of the Valley card. This time it's the stamp set Fabulous Flower that features James and a bunny. I love sunflowers, so naturally when I saw this stamp it was love on first sight.
I stamped the images using Versafine Onix Black ink pad on some Mi-Tientes Pastel paper, then I colored it with Faber-Castell polychromos pencils and trimmed it. I really like how the colors pop on the gray pastel paper. The pigment on those pencils is so rich that I love coloring with them on darn papers. .
Then I matted it on some Basic Black card stock and on So Saffron layer and adhered the whole panel onto Basic Black card base.
Using the PTI  Super Swoosh die collection I cut the thanks sentiment from So Saffron card stock and adhered it, then I adhered 2 So Saffron candy dots on the top left side.

Enjoy your day and I will be back tomorrow with another creation for you ;)

Teachers gifts 2015

I am back today with another project. Last week was Teacher's appreciation week at my kids' daycare, so I made this to go with the gift cards for the teachers. I used bunch of dies and stamps from Paper trey ink from their collection Petite Places. I used Seeds of Knowledge and Petite Places: School stamp sets. And from the dies I used the Petite places school die, pop-up tree die, Scene it: Everyday die and Doily Tag base die. I colored the trees using my Chameleon pens without using the toning medium. The base for the bottom of the domes is cut using one of the circle Spellbinders dies and the panel on the cards is cut with one of the stitched rectangles dies from Lil' Inkers designs.

Nobody loves like a mom

Hi all,

Happy Friday! In 2 days it's Mothers' day and better late than never, I made a card for my mom. Well, yes it's before Mother's day, but the card will not arrive before Mother's day :( Oh, well...

I used 3 sets to make the card. First one was Flower Garden by Tim Holtz, to stamp the flower on Neenah white card stock, then colored with my Chameleon Pens. Then I die cut it with Stitched rectangles die from Lil' Inkers Designs and stamped the sentiment from Mother's Love by Stampin' Up! and at the end I added some sequins. And to finish I adhered the while panel onto Basic Black card stock. On the inside I adhered Whisper White panel on which I stamped Happy Mother's day from a set from PTI and again the flower from Flower Garden.
Voila!
Hope you all have great Mother's Day

Just Saying Hello with Chameleon Pens and Power Poppy

Hi all,
Happy Thursday! I was planning to post this yesterday, but the day just slipped by me. As I said in the previous post, this is my first week back to work after my 14 week maternity leave and I am trying to adjust to the new routine. Things are going well so far. The kids are doing well at daycare.
Today I have a card that I made using one of the digital stamps from Power Poppy called Countryside Bouquet. I printed the image on Neenah smooth solar white card stock and then colored it with my Chameleon Pens. I used MFT Blueprints die to cut the panel, as well as the banner. I added some candy dots on the panel and as well on the sentiment banner. I stamped the image with Versafine Onix Black ink pad. I honestly can't remember which set the sentiment came from, you can blame it on the baby brain! (It will be my excuse for the next year or so;). Then I layered the panel and sentiment on Crumb Cake layer that measures 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and adhered it with Dimensionals onto So Saffron card base. And there you have it, simple card. I did try to keep it simple so the focus is on the colored image.
