My Studio, as I promissed

As I promised here are few pictures of my studio :)

This is on the right of my desk, the Ikea rods to hold my punches, the retired inkpads, ribbon etc. On the window I have the new style punches, plus bunch that are not SU!
On the other side I have few more rods and few drawers to store some felt, non su! stamps, packaging supplies etc, and little peek of my photo corner.
This is my light tent where I take pictures of my cards and projects.
Then there is my new shelf that holds my big shot, dies, has one card tree on top and few other things.
Then there are the big shelves that store all my cardstock, stamps and many many other things. On the side there is a smaller shelf with more stamps and on top I have DVD holders with the new clear mount stamps. I left bunch of free space for the new stamps to come soon.
Here is my dsp corner, I know there is a LOT of paper, and another shelf with my printer, and on the bottom I have the unopened packs of cardstock (neutrals). And there is my computer and sewing machine desk, where I have few CD racks in which I store unmounted retired SU! stamps.
Then, there is my work desk(not the cleanest one) but it works.

Little decor element on the wall - Lollipop flower (this one retires in few hours)
My stack of not opened packages of cardstock
My stack of unopened packages of Neutrals cardstock
My stack of unopened packaged of retiring and non SU! cardstock
Wonderful swaps on my desk, that I received today!
Buttons, that are retiring and I transfered in jars to free space in my stack and store caddy

Friends are flowers that never fade

I have been extremely tired lately so that resulted in not much creating, I was re-organizing my studio (moving shelves, desks etc around) for a new fresh look. I get bored if things look the same all the time. I still have few decor elements I would like to put on the walls...then I will take some photos and post them. It's not the most organized studio, but it works for me. :)And it's functional.

Here is a card I made today, besides making Mango jam :) I can't believe I used no embellishments!
Scroll down for complete list of supplies.
I am off to bed (I know it's only 10pm) to read a book and probably fall asleep within 10min LoL... it always happens :)

supplies
stamps: Friends Never Fade
ink: pear pizzazz, baja breeze, chocolate chip
paper:
pear pizzazz, baja breeze, chocolate chip, whisper white, greenhouse gala
other: smooch illuminate, scoring tool

No Eye Candy

Well I got myself in trouble. I picked up some shelves on Sunday from Target and was putting them up on Sunday night in my studio, well I decided to re-organize my studio while I was at it....BAD idea!!! It took me Sunday night and today to finish , and is still not completely finished. My desk is a MESS!
I will post pictures soon! (hopefully tomorrow)

But for now here's a pic of my pile of cardstock....wonder if I will have enough...ha!
there are few packs that are retiring in couple days, but most of the cardstock is current. I was shocked when I piled up the card stock, I didn't know that I have that much cardstock!!!!

Don't forget to enter to win a FREE UStamp with Dawn and Friends PASS --> HERE (you have until 10pm EST tonight 6/29/10)

Don't look behind the cardstock and on the sides, it's complete mess, since I was in middle of re-organizing when I took the picture, so everything was laying on the floor until I found place for it.

Studio Sketches

Ok, I took a break from making embellishments...lol..
It has been a good day :) Sean got back home, after a week in NYC, last night around midnight and we got to sleep in today...it was NICE. I think Saturdays are the only days we can sleep in. After that I was packaging and mailing my Etsy orders and as well had to mail few of the new SU! catalogs.
I can hardly wait till July 1st to place my order(s).
After that we went to Lawrenceville to the Bosnian Restourant and the grocery store, we had some yummy dinner, I think it's good thing we don't live close there, since we'll be there every day. LOL...then we got some goodies from the store(ok, lots of goodies) and I picked up 2 books I have been wanting forever and back... If I tell you the name you will have no clue what I am talking about...anyway...it was good to get some goodies I grew up with.
As well, the set I used on this card reminds me of Europe...I used the new set (available July 1st) from SU! called Studio Sketches, as well this set reminds me of my early High School years when I wanted to be an artist i.e. go to Art School...oh well...I ended up being Electrical Power Engineer, and I don't regret choosing that path over the art one. I can still do art, lol, but if I went to Art school I wouldn't be able to do electrical engineering...so it's a win-win for me...

Ok, enough blabing from me....scroll down for list of supplies I used on this card

I am off to bed, or reading my book :)

supplies:
stamps: Studio Sketches, Occasional Quotes, wheel : texture
ink: bravo burgundy, always artichoke, crumb cake, more mustard, early espresso, soft suede
paper: confetti cream, bravo burgundy, more mustard
other: vintage brads, bravo burgundy 5/8" grosgrain ribbon

On my couch

I have been addicted making these embellishments. I decided to dust off some sets this past week that I have gotten and rarely used, so I made resolution to use them instead of them collecting dust, even though they are not SU!
So I made some more embellishments and kits today , I used the Afternoon tea dsp for these, one of my all time favorites.

I put the kits in my Etsy SHOP -->HERE

They include:
12 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" pieces of cardstock(4 whisper white, 2 wild wasabi, 2 melon berry , 2 aqua mist, 2 chocolate chip)
12 4"x6" Afternoon TeaPatterned Paper
1 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" sheet of embellishments
10 ft. ribbon
18 buttons total (chocolate, white, aqua, melon berry and green)
Half back pearls

Disclaimer: The cards don't come with the kit, they are just samples what you can create with this kit
