Scrunchy Fancy Flower tutorial

This is post #2 for today, so scroll down for my first post which is as well another tutorial.

Here is yet another tutorial for today. It's how to make the scrunchy flowers I made for THIS CARD using the XL fancy flower punch.

Materials you will need:
1 brad
buttons ( I used playground designers buttons)
linen thread (optional)
dimensionals,
mat pack
paper piercing tool
XL fancy flower punch
old book

1. Start by punching 5 flowers out of the pages of the old book. 2. Line them up together and using your paper piercing tool pierce a hole in the middle and put in the brad to hold the layers together . It doesn't matter what color is the brad, because it will be covered later with the button.

3. Start scrunching the layers, starting from the top one. One by one, except the bottom one. Leave that one flat.

4. Straighten the layers a little bit so you can see the brad and make space for the button.
5. Thread linen thread on the button and make a bow ( I used the real red button- it kinda looks like orange on the pic)
6. Put dimensionals on the back and adhere it to the center of the flower.

7. Now scrunch the layers again, again starting from the top layer and leaving the bottom one flat. Scrunch it until you like how it looks :) And you are done.

ENJOY!
