Babushki!

You probably wonder what in the world the title of this post means. It's the same thing as Matryoshka, it's how we used to call these dolls back home. I had few sets of these and used to play a lot with them. This stamp set brought a lot of childhood memories and I just had to have it.
Besides My Matryoshka set from the new occassions mini I used the pretty in pink satin ribbon and sweet pea designer paper, as well the scallop trim edge punch:)

stamps: My Matryoshka (occassions mini 2010)

ink and markers: old olive, taken with teal, sahara sand, so saffron, pretty in pink, rose red, staz on in jet black

paper: watercolor, sweet pea dsp(occassions mini 2010), old olive, so saffron, taken with teal, rose red, pretty in pink,

other: pretty in pink satin ribbon (occassions mini 2010), earth elements brads, playground buttons, aqua painter, scallop trim corner punch(occassions mini 2010)

Ohhhh, there are millions of people that can relate to this set. I have a huge collection of the matryoshka and there are lots of collections around the world. So, I am now looking forward to adding an item to my collection!! :-D

I just love how you colored your dolls!!! I'm half Russian on my mother's side, and I wish I had a set of these dolls! I will have to do better with the coloring of mine after seeing yours!! I've only made one card with these and I was in a hurry!! LOL! Thanks for sharing!
